ONF Côte d’Ivoire

ONF Côte d’Ivoire is a branch of ONF International, created in 2018 to support the implementation of the National Forest and Wildlife Inventory (IFFN) project. IFFN project was coordinated by ONFI and ONF Côte d’Ivoire, in partnership with IGN (Institut national de l’information géographique et forestière) and IGN-FI. The detailed inventory of Côte d’Ivoire’s forest and wildlife resources was presented in Abidjan on 29 June 2021.

The ONF Côte d’Ivoire team is made up of French and Ivorian experts specialising in tropical forestry, forest management, wildlife management and socio-economics. Through its experienced and multidisciplinary team, ONF Côte d’Ivoire aims to :

• Promote French and Ivorian expertise in sustainable forest management,
• Provide consultancy services in forest management, forest assessments and inventories,
• Train and support players in the forestry sector in inventory and management techniques.
